The problems ShipItFam solves

ShipItFam is a team of AI helpers that builds software for you: websites, apps and small business tools. You say what you want in plain words. They plan it, build it, and check with you before anything goes live.

How it works, in 30 seconds

  1. You describe it.

Type or say it, even from your phone. A website for my bakery, with this week’s cakes and prices.

  2. The AI team plans and builds it.

First it shows you a short plan in plain words. Then it builds in small steps and writes down every decision, so it never forgets.

  3. You approve, it goes live.

Questions come to your phone. Nothing is published without your OK, and any change can be undone in one tap.

Which problem do you have?

AI app builders make a great first version. Then every change breaks something.

Who has this problem: people with an idea for a website or app who don’t write code.

The problem

Tools like Lovable, Bolt or ChatGPT can make the first version of an app in minutes.

But they don’t keep notes. When you come back to change something, the AI has forgotten why it built things that way. So it guesses, and something else breaks.

What ShipItFam does

  • Shows you a plan in plain words before it builds anything.
  • Builds in small steps, so one change can’t quietly break another.
  • Keeps a project notebook with every decision you made, and reads it before each step.
  • Asks you when it isn’t sure, instead of guessing.
  • Lets you preview every change before it goes live, and undo it in one tap.

Example

You, 9 pmAdd a page with this week’s cakes and prices.

ShipItFam, 9:05 pmPlan: 1. a cakes page, 2. a link to it from the menu, 3. an easy way for you to update prices. One question: should sold-out cakes show, or hide?

You, on your phoneShow them, marked sold out.

Next morningA preview link is waiting. You tap Publish.

Good first jobs

You can build it yourself. You just don’t have the hours.

Who has this problem: developers with a day job and a side project, or a small team with a long to-do list.

The problem

The to-do list keeps growing. Coding assistants like Claude Code help, but only while you sit next to them and answer their questions.

Walk away and they either stop, or guess. Close the session and they forget your project.

What ShipItFam does

  • Takes your task list and works through it while you’re at work or asleep, on your computer or in the cloud.
  • Each task gets its own branch and a change you can review.
  • Questions only you can answer wait on your phone. Everything else, it handles.
  • Nothing is merged or shipped until you approve it.
  • Works from your Trello or Gitea board: cards become tasks, finished ones move to Done.

Example

You, 10 pmMove five cards to “To do” on your board. Go to bed.

OvernightFour cards done, each with a preview and its changes. One waiting: “Should existing users also get the new welcome email?”

7:40 am, over coffeeYou answer “no”, approve four, and start your day.

Good first jobs

Your team’s AI assistants can’t ask each other anything.

Who has this problem: teams where people write code with an AI assistant, like Claude or ChatGPT.

The problem

Georgi’s AI assistant is changing the refund code. It needs to know something only Mira knows, because she wrote that part.

It has no way to ask her. So Georgi interrupts Mira, or waits until tomorrow, or the AI guesses. Guesses turn into bugs.

What ShipItFam does

The Kraken is a small program each person on the team runs on their computer. It lets AI assistants ask each other questions.

  • Mira’s Kraken answers by reading the code Mira works on. It only reads. It never changes anything.
  • If it isn’t sure, it asks Mira, with an answer already drafted.
  • Answers go into the team’s shared notebook, so nobody asks twice.

Also

  • If someone asks for real work (“can you check my changes?”), the Kraken asks Mira first. Nothing runs without her yes.
  • It uses Mira’s own Claude account, with a spending limit she sets.
  • Joining takes one command, and it comes with the team invite.
  1. 11:40 pmGeorgi’s AI asks

Why does the refund job retry 3 times? Can I make it 1?

  2. Same minuteMira’s Kraken reads her code

Mira is asleep. Her computer is on, so her Kraken handles it.

  3. 11:41 pmIt answers

Keep 3. The payment provider blocks fast repeats. With 1, refunds get stuck.

  4. From now onSaved for the team

The answer goes into the shared notebook. The next person’s AI already knows.

Not sure? The Kraken doesn’t guess. It sends Mira the question with a drafted answer, and she sends it with one key in the morning.

Good first uses

The same office chores eat hours every week.

Who has this problem: anyone running a small business or a team.

The problem

The Monday report. Sorting the support inbox. Checking what competitors changed. Chasing unpaid invoices.

None of it is hard. It just never stops, and it’s spread across five different apps.

What ShipItFam does

  • You describe the chore once, in plain words. That’s a routine: a task that runs by itself on a schedule.
  • It connects to the apps you already use: Gmail, Slack, HubSpot, Notion, Stripe and hundreds more.
  • Anything risky, like sending an email to a customer, waits for your OK.

Examples

  • Every Monday, 8 amLast week’s sales from Stripe, as a one-page summary in your inbox.
  • Every morning, 7 amOvernight support messages sorted by urgency, with replies drafted for the easy ones.
  • Every FridayThe HubSpot deals nobody touched in 10 days, posted in Slack for each owner.
